NJ BUTLER — Butler Municipal Council completes 2026 reorganization with slate of appointments and procedures. Mayor Ryan Martinez swore in newly elected Councilmen Alexander Calvi and Michael MacDonald, presided over the unanimous reappointment of Brandi Smith-Greco as Borough Clerk with tenure protection, and guided approval of appointments for Borough Attorney Robert H. Oostdyk, Jr.; Borough Engineer Thomas Boorady of Darmofalski Engineering; and 11 additional municipal officials and committee members.
The council designated Provident Bank as the official municipal depository, approved a temporary 2026 budget, established 12 regular meeting dates, and affirmed its opposition to discrimination in housing and employment.
